Five hours of music and performance was organized Wednesday evening in tribute to Merce Cunningham. Columbia College’s Paige Cunningham, formerly a dancer in Merce’s company, performed at the event. The New York Times‘ Alistair Macaulay has published his impressions of the memorial.
